Causeway one.network is a digital road management platform used to plan, monitor, communicate and analyse traffic disruptions. Based in the UK market, it is designed to bring together highway authorities, utilities, contractors, traffic management teams and the public around a shared view of roadworks, closures and diversions.
The platform’s main goal is to reduce disruption on the road network and improve coordination across the street works lifecycle. It does this by centralising information about planned and live interventions, allowing road operators to share details of closures, diversion routes and temporary restrictions through a single system. The public can access this information online, while operational users can coordinate works and update records in one place.
The methodology is built around a web-based collaborative platform rather than isolated planning tools. Users can create public accounts, search for a location, and view information about roadworks, alternative routes and supporting documents. The system also supports communication with mapping and navigation services through integrated products such as Live Link, which pushes closure information directly to providers including Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps and TomTom.
Causeway one.network is part of Causeway Technologies’ infrastructure portfolio. Publicly available material describes it as the UK’s authoritative collaboration software for road network works, traffic management and traffic control centre teams. It is also available through the UK government’s Digital Marketplace as a cloud service for digital traffic regulation orders and works coordination.
Up to now, the project appears focused on improving efficiency, reducing duplication and making road disruption information more accessible to both professionals and road users.
