Thrive LDN is a London-based public mental health partnership set up to improve wellbeing across the capital. The organisation describes its mission as ensuring that everyone living or working in London has an equal opportunity for good mental health, regardless of who they are or where they live. It works as a coalition rather than a single service provider, bringing together public bodies, health organisations and local partners around prevention, awareness and practical support.
Launched in July 2017 by the Mayor of London and London Health Board partners, Thrive LDN operates across Greater London, with a focus on citywide coordination rather than neighbourhood-level delivery. Its work spans suicide prevention, training resources, public communications and responses to crisis situations. The partnership says it provides free wellbeing resources, including material on trauma-informed practice and resilience-building, and coordinates public mental health campaigns across the capital.
One of its best-known initiatives is #ZeroSuicideLDN, a suicide prevention campaign that includes online training developed by the Zero Suicide Alliance. The organisation also runs Signpost – Your Guide to Life in the UK, an email service for people seeking sanctuary in London, and has published research and reports on the needs of displaced and crisis-affected communities. These activities point to a broader role: not only raising awareness, but also connecting Londoners to practical information and evidence-based resources.
Thrive LDN is supported by the Mayor of London and led through the London Health Board, with partners including the Greater London Authority, Transformation Partners in Health and Care, NHS England (London Region), Public Health England (London Region) and London Councils.
