Impact Hub Amsterdam is the Dutch branch of the wider Impact Hub network, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The organisation says it has spent 16 years helping organisations, governments and entrepreneurs innovate, improve sustainability and accelerate change. Its work combines innovation consulting for SMEs and corporates with accelerator and venture support for startups and scaleups.
The Amsterdam hub focuses on practical implementation rather than abstract advice. For companies, it helps identify opportunities, find innovation partners and test or validate solutions linked to sustainability goals. For younger ventures, it offers accelerator programmes, access to experts and mentors, and connections to a broader international ecosystem. According to the organisation, it has supported more than 5,000 organisations and entrepreneurs.
Impact Hub Amsterdam aligns its activities with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It places particular emphasis on circularity, food, inclusion and fashion. In the circular economy field, it has worked with partners including the City of Amsterdam, AMS Institute, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Circle Economy, IKEA, Rijkswaterstaat, Triodos and ABN AMRO. One of its notable initiatives is CRCL PARK, a space where entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers and residents test and scale circular solutions for cities. The organisation also highlights a food-system programme running from 2018 to 2024, aimed at accelerating the transition to a more sustainable food ecosystem in the Netherlands.
Impact Hub Amsterdam operates within a global network of 100+ Impact Hubs and 300,000+ impact makers in more than 60 countries, giving it reach beyond the Dutch market while keeping a strong local base in Amsterdam.
