Cross River Partnership (CRP) is a London-based public-private partnership that has worked on regeneration projects since 1994. It began with cross-river infrastructure projects, including the Millennium Bridge and Golden Jubilee Footbridges, and later broadened its work to cross-borough, multi-partner initiatives. 11
Today, CRP works with public, private and community organisations, including boroughs and Business Improvement Districts, to develop practical projects addressing environmental, economic and community priorities. Its stated focus is a fair and equitable transition to “good and green growth” in London. 410 Its work spans decarbonisation, greener public spaces, planning, data analysis and partnership-building, with projects operating across central London and beyond. 4
A major strand is healthier, more walkable streets. The Mayor of London-funded Healthy Streets Everyday programme ran from 2019 to 2022 and worked with partners across the capital to support walking and cycling, reduce air pollution and improve streets. It delivered 23 greening improvements across 11 boroughs. 3 Its successor, Healthy Streets Everyday II, focuses on active travel, walking routes, School Streets, low-emission transport infrastructure and green infrastructure. 6
CRP also participates in Just Streets, a Horizon Europe project aimed at developing streets that support active mobility while being sustainable and inclusive. 2 The partnership’s approach is collaborative: its community work includes co-designing, co-delivering and evaluating projects with local people and organisations. LinkedIn identifies Fiona Coull as interim director; the organisation’s news page also reports the appointment of Tanja Dalle-Muenchmeyer as director. 412
