Amsterdam Drone Week (ADW) has changed course and is now fully incorporated into Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026, where the drone agenda will be embedded in a larger mobility and traffic technology event. The event takes place from 10 to 13 March 2026 at RAI Amsterdam in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
ADW positions itself as a meeting point for commercial and non-commercial players, knowledge institutes, public authorities and city representatives. Its focus is the practical application of drone technology in mobility, especially how advanced air mobility can be integrated into urban transport systems and support services. According to the event description, the aim is to bring together policymakers, industry leaders and researchers to exchange insights on regulation, infrastructure and deployment.
Thematic priorities for this edition include digital infrastructure, mobility hubs, eVTOLs and unmanned aircraft systems, cities and regions, and rules and regulations. Within Intertraffic, drones will appear across the programme, with a particular emphasis on the Next Mobility section. That stage is set to host knowledge sessions on urban air mobility, regulatory requirements and the role of drones in addressing urban challenges. A demo court will also showcase mobility solutions in practice.
The move into Intertraffic reflects ADW’s integration into a broader event that attracts around 30,000 government representatives and business professionals from more than 140 countries. Industry coverage of previous editions has highlighted ADW’s role as a global platform for air mobility, and its 2026 edition continues that function within a wider mobility context.
