Revel began in Brooklyn in 2018 with a mission to make electric vehicles easier to use and support their adoption in cities. Its founders are Frank Reig and Paul Suhey; Reig is identified as the company’s co-founder and CEO. 4812
The company has since shifted its focus to charging infrastructure. Revel announced in 2025 that it was ending its rideshare service and concentrating exclusively on vehicle charging stations. 8 Its network serves urban drivers and fleets, with locations listed in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area, and a site in Oakland described as open around the clock. 611 Revel’s site describes hubs with multiple stalls and charging power of 75–320 kW; its current page reports 100 live stalls and more than 260 planned. 6
A notable partnership is Revel’s agreement with Toyota and Lexus to provide their battery-electric vehicle customers complimentary access to Revel’s New York City fast-charging network through October 2027. At the time of the announcement, Revel operated 64 stalls across four New York stations. 13 The company’s Brooklyn headquarters is listed at 273 South 5th Street, Suite 301. 6
