Based in Warsaw, the Electric Vehicle Promotion Foundation (FPPE) is a Polish non-governmental organisation working to shift transport towards lower-emission options. Founded in 2016 by Marcin Korolec, it focuses on Poland while also engaging with European transport policy and partners.2611 Korolec, a former environment minister and climate-policy official, has served as the foundation’s president.389
FPPE combines policy analysis and advice with public education, advocacy and convening. Its work covers electric vehicles and buses, zero-emission transport, air quality and the rules that shape mobility. It also brings together business, public authorities and civil-society organisations through forums for discussion and exchange.41012
One sustained area of work is clean transport zones: FPPE says it has advocated for their introduction in Poland since 2017 and supports municipalities with planning and public consultations.13 An earlier research project, Charging Poland, examined possible pathways for electrifying Polish road transport, including the charging network, electric buses and potential economic and environmental effects.3 Together, these activities place the foundation at the intersection of transport policy, city-level implementation and public debate.31213
